Of course there is. We set priorities all the time and leave the problems behind that aren’t critical right now or that aren’t holding us back in a significant way. It makes complete sense, because we have limited resources and only so much time to tackle our most important problems. However, at some point, this problem that we keep pushing down the priority list is going to cause much more trouble than it’s worth because we’ve left it unsolved for so long. Like an invisible bacteria growing in a petri dish, it will soon become visible – and left alone and unprioritized, it will grow into something that will have an impact. Don’t delay too long in tackling this long-standing problem or you will regret solving it when it was just a little problem.
